Reflection on What I have learned in Digitalization Class

 In today's class with my beloved Dr Fareed, I have learned that using Internet is the same as in the real life. For instance, there are also some ethics that we as an Internet users must have several ethics in cyberspace. For example, before asking or disturbing someone through Internet or socialize apps, we must first greet the person we are messaging reflect the personality of ourselves in the real life. Not only that, we must also have the ethics of not disturbing or annoying people during their resting time such as not messaging people during midnight time or weekend which are not working hours. It would reflect what kind of person are we as a human in real life although it is only through or on the Internet. Furthermore, I also learned about how to create or develop a website that is useful for my future as it can helps to make my Resume looks more professional.  On 17th April 2024, in Digitalization class, I learned that there are 2 types of services that any establishments may provide which are "efficiency" and "effectiveness". The difference between these 2 services is that efficiency service focus on quantity while effectiveness service focus on quality product. For instance, fast food restaurants undergo efficiency services to provide fast serving meals while fine dining restaurants prioritize on effectiveness service to provide better quality meals. Moreover, I had learnt that Google provides free training and understanding lessons for users to know more about digitalization during the class. Not only that, my lecturer also requested us to use Google Calendar to jot down those activities and assessment that we needed to complete on time so that we will have a clearer vision on the homeworks given.  On 10th of April 2024, it was the first day of Hari Raya Aidilfitri and there is no class for Digitalization. However, I did do some meaningful things during the class time. I surfed Internet and looked for the business that we might be going to do for Modul 2 for our assignment. Fortunately, I did find some business around the university area which might need this technology and our help to develop their website. However, after finding some businesses, me and my groupmates have not decided on which business to select for our assignment, and yet we were still in the process of discussing and selecting the company. We had not proceeded to communicate with those companies that we found on Internet, but it was a good start better than no starting at all. We will be slowly but guarantee in progressing our work.  In this week Digitalization Class, I have learned that actually google is a search engine but not a website which I thought it was a informative website searching for information. I have also learned and know some of the history and background of how google is started in a garage and form into today's size. It is very inspirational and motivate me as a student. Not only that, during the class i was required to brainstorming about "theories related to is & organization". It was a very fun and lively lecture with Dr. Fareed. I hope the ambience would last and continue for the future lessons.
